La Verrerie is a small hamlet about a mile from the village centre of Egliseneuve-des-Liards. The house is a traditional Auvergne farmhouse converted to provide two comfortable gites in addition to a range of other buildings. The two gites share a garden of nearly an acre, a stable block which is now a games room, and a pool area. The two gites can be rented individually or together. The garden affords stunning  views across 60+ miles to the chaine of puys, on a clear day you an see the top of Puy Sancy and Puy de Dome, and on a day with just a few clounds in just the right places, the sunsets are spectacular! The house is in a quiet country location half way up a mountain with no passing traffic save the cows from the nearby farm and the occasional tractor. Even aircraft passing overhead are rare. But you're only ten minutes drive from the town of Sauxillanges, which has two small supermarkets and a Michelin listed restaurant! And only twenty minutes drive from the Motorway, which will take you all the way to the ferry.

Private Swimming Pool		The swimming pool is shared between the two gites. It's being built in front of the stable, and will be ready by June 2007.
Grounds		Half an acre of gardens, lawns and trees, barbecue areas, sun shelters, fantastic views, no noise.
Games Room		Table tennis, Darts, Playstation.
Table Tennis		Brand new table in the stable block.
Laundry Facilities		Automatich washing machine shared between the two gites. Indoor drying space if weather poor.
Childrens Play Area		Large garden with lawned terraces, room for badminton, petanque, haring about.
