<font style="BACKGROUND-COLOR: #ffffff" face="Trebuchet MS" color="#666666" size="2">La Tavellerie is a big secluded farmhouse suitable for two family or extended family holidays.&nbsp; It comfortably accommodates 10 people.&nbsp; It is very quiet and peaceful and surrounded by its own land, including a small wood&nbsp;that children enjoy playing in.&nbsp; The house was restored 5 years ago and has central heating and plentiful hot water.&nbsp; It is comfortable and tastefully decorated.&nbsp;&nbsp; Terraces on the South East and South West sides provide sun traps and should one need shade there are shady trees under which one can be cool.&nbsp; The shady&nbsp;area overlooks the valley beyond.&nbsp; The pool (12x4 meters) is surrounded by paving and a high fence with a locable gate so children cannot gain unsupervised access.&nbsp;&nbsp;<br /> <br /> The climate in the Vendee is generally hot in summer but not so hot that you can\'t enjoy being outside.&nbsp; The winters are mild.&nbsp; The Vendee \'bocage\' area&nbsp;is quiet, wooded&nbsp;and rural and is relatively unspoilt.&nbsp; There are interesting historical sites to visit and good restaurants in villages nearby.&nbsp; The coast is an hour\'s drive West, La Rochelle is about one and a quarter hour\'s drive South and the Loire valley&nbsp;about one and a half hour\'s drive North.</font>
