The petite maison is a 19th Century, two-storey cottage built in stone.  For many years its attractive appearance was hidden beneath a faded yellow mortar rendering.  It has been renovated and has a new electrical system, the roof has been renewed and insulation installed.  It is  cool in the summer and warm in the winter months.  On the ground floor the cottage has a open-plan kitchen off the spacious  living room.  The large shower room has a WC and a washbasin unit.

The cottage has been priced for use by up to four persons.  There is room in the principle bedroom for a cot, and a baby using it will be not be counted in the number of guests, but please bring your own cot-sheets and bedding.  We can also provide a high-chair but you need to bring baby’s beaker, potty, etc.

If more than four people use the petite maison we charge a supplement of £20 per week, per person.  During peak periods bookings will run from Saturday to Saturday. 

Upstairs there is a large double-bedded room, and a twin-bedded  gallery room, each with storage for clothes and personal effects.  Extra visitors have use of the convertible sofa.

There is central heating throughout the cottage.  Towels, bed linen and tea towels are provided, and gas, electricity and water are included in the price.   Please bring your own towels for outdoor use.

The owner’s property is set in one  hectare of land, which is available to you.  The petite maison has its own street entrance and courtyard.  There is  plenty of off-road car parking. 

The petite maison has a separate laundry room with washing-machine and, iron.  There is a courtyard with table and chairs and a barbecue.  A hairdryer and a radio/cassette/CD player are provided.

It is a 15-minute stroll to the centre of the village where there are two bakers, two hairdressers, a general food store, butcher, chemist, post office, three cafés, tobacconist, a dentist, and doctors.

There are bicycles and it may be possible to use them during your stay with us, and if you have any particular requirements please let us know, and we will research them before you arrive.
