A beautiful village, steeped in history. Famous for its church and baptistery which is one of the oldest religious buildings in France.

The village holds the coveted ‘One of the most beautiful villages in France’ award and rightly so, as it is uniquely beautiful.

No through traffic with little polution.

Venasque was once home to the bishops of the Vatican in Avignon, and is therefore protected still against over development.
